GoYomi
GoYomi is a friendly place to learn Go.
Play 9x9 games against an AI that scales from beginner to strong while a coach watches every move, grades it, and explains what happened.
What you get:
- An opponent at your level. Nine AI levels from Pebble to Phoenix, all played by KataGo's neural network right in your browser.
- A coach that grades every move in plain language, and adjusts its explanations to your experience.
- It tells you when the AI's move doesn't need an answer, and warns you before you pass too early.
- Find better moves yourself: an optional mode that gives you another try after a mistake before the coach shows its move. Hints when you want them, with the reason the best move matters, and a look at what your opponent is planning.
- See the board like a stronger player with overlays for liberties, atari and territory.
- Undo any move, try something else, and experiment freely. Scoring made simple. Pass twice and the coach counts the game. Review your games. A game graph with mistakes marked. Save and load SGF files.
- Accessible. Play with the keyboard alone, and hear every move and comment through a screen reader or built-in speech.
- New to Go? The rules are easy to learn and explained in the game.
Everything runs in your browser. No account, no download, no ads. Free and open source under the GPL-3.0: https://github.com/KilledByAPixel/GoYomi
